The 40 mg tablet also contains: FD&C Yellow #6/Sunset Yellow FCF Aluminum Lake, FD&C Blue #2/Indigo Carmine Aluminum Lake and black iron oxide.

One layer of the tablet consists of a degradable barrier layer and the other contains the active material in a hydrophilic matrix. Inactive ingredients consist of hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer dispersion, polyethylene glycols, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, silicon dioxide, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate. In addition, the 25 mg and 37.5 mg colorant contains FD&C Blue No. 2 aluminum lake. In addition, the 25 mg colorant also contains carmine. Paroxetine meets USP Dissolution Test 3.
