Rosuvastatin calcium USP is a white to off-white powder that is soluble in dimethyl formamide, dimethyl sulphoxide, acetonitrile and acetone, slightly soluble in water and methanol. Rosuvastatin calcium USP is a hydrophilic compound with a partition coefficient (octanol/water) of 0.13 at pH of 7.0.
