Bumetanide tablets USP are loop diuretics available as 0.5 mg, 1 mg, and 2 mg (white to off white) tablets for oral administration; each tablet also contains corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium oxide light, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, and talc. Chemically, bumetanide is 3-(butylamino)-4-phenoxy-5-sulfamoylbenzoic acid.
