Dicyclomine hydrochloride capsules USP, are an antispasmodic and anticholinergic (antimuscarinic) agent available in the following dosage form: • Dicyclomine hydrochloride capsules USP, for oral use contain 10 mg dicyclomine hydrochloride USP. Dicyclomine 10 mg capsules also contain inactive ingredients: calcium sulfate dihydrate, FD&C blue 1, FD&C red 3, gelatin, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinized starch, and sodium lauryl sulfate. The imprinting ink contains povidone, propylene glycol, shellac, sodium hydroxide and titanium dioxide. • Dicyclomine hydrochloride is [bicyclohexyl]-1-carboxylic acid, 2-(diethylamino) ethyl ester, hydrochloride, with a molecular formula of C 19 H 35 NO 2 •HCl and the following structural formula: Dicyclomine hydrochloride USP, occurs as a fine, white, crystalline powder.
