It is sparingly soluble in chloroform, soluble in acetic acid and practically insoluble in water. Its molecular weight is 252.27 g/mol. Oxcarbazepine film-coated tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol and iron oxide yellow.
