Ritonavir, USP has a bitter metallic taste. It is freely soluble in methanol and ethanol, soluble in isopropanol and practically insoluble in water. Ritonavir tablets, USP are available for oral administration in a strength of 100 mg ritonavir, USP with the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous dibasic calcium phosphate, colloidal silicon dioxide, copovidone, and sodium stearyl fumarate.
