The chemical name for icosapent ethyl is ethyl all-cis-5,8,11,14,17-icosapentaenoate with the following chemical structure: Icosapent ethyl capsules also contain the following inactive ingredients: alpha tocopherol, gelatin, glycerol and purified water.
