DEXYCU (dexamethasone intraocular suspension) 9% is a corticosteroid, sterile, white to off-white opaque suspension for intraocular administration. Each vial of DEXYCU contains 0.5 mL of 9% w/w dexamethasone suspension equivalent to 51.7 mg of dexamethasone. The inactive ingredient is acetyl triethyl citrate. DEXYCU does not contain an antimicrobial preservative. The chemical name of dexamethasone is pregna-1,4-diene-3,20-dione, 9-fluoro-11,17,21-trihydroxy-16-methyl-, (11β,16α)-.
