Each mL contains 118 mcg of dexmedetomidine hydrochloride USP, equivalent to 100 mcg (0.1 mg) of dexmedetomidine, 1.6 mg of methylparaben NF and 0.2 mg of propylparaben NF, as preservatives and 9 mg of sodium chloride USP, as tonicity agent in water for injection.
