ELYXYB is an oral solution of celecoxib, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Each unit dose of ELYXYB contains 120 mg of celecoxib. Celecoxib is a white or almost white, crystalline or amorphous powder with a pKa of 11. Celecoxib is hydrophobic (log P is 3.0) and practically insoluble in water. Celecoxib is chemically designated as p -[5- p -tolyl-3-(trifluoromethyl) pyrazol-1-yl] benzenesulfonamide. The empirical formula for celecoxib is C 17 H 14 F 3 N 3 O 2 S, and the molecular weight is 381.37. Colchicine is an alkaloid obtained from various species of Colchicum . The chemical name for colchicine is (S) - N -(5,6,7,9-tetrahydro- 1,2,3,10-tetramethoxy-9-oxobenzo[ a ]heptalen-7-yl) acetamide with a molecular formula of C 22 H 25 NO 6 and a molecular weight of 399.4. Colchicine is soluble in water, freely soluble in alcohol, and slightly soluble in ether. ZTLIDO (lidocaine topical system) 1.8% is a single-layer, drug-in-adhesive topical delivery system comprised of an adhesive material containing 36 mg lidocaine, which is applied to a pliable nonwoven cloth backing and covered with a polyethylene terephthalate film release liner. The release liner is removed prior to application to the skin. The size of ZTLIDO is 10 cm × 14 cm × 0.08 cm.
