Synthetic T4 is chemically identical to that produced in the human thyroid gland. Metformin hydrochloride ( N,N- dimethylimidodicarbonimidic diamide hydrochloride) is not chemically or pharmacologically related to any other classes of oral antihyperglycemic agents.
