LEVO-T (levothyroxine sodium tablets, USP) contain synthetic crystalline L-3,3',5,5'-tetraiodothyronine sodium salt [levothyroxine (T4) sodium]. Synthetic T4 is chemically identical to that produced in the human thyroid gland. Levothyroxine (T4) sodium has an empirical formula of C 15 H 10 I 4 NNaO 4 ∙x H 2 O (where x = 5), molecular weight of 798.86 g/mol (anhydrous), and structural formula as shown: LEVO-T tablets for oral administration are supplied in the following strengths: 25 mcg, 50 mcg, 75 mcg, 88 mcg, 100 mcg, 112 mcg, 125 mcg, 137 mcg, 150 mcg, 175 mcg, 200 mcg, and 300 mcg. Each LEVO-T tablet contains the inactive ingredients Magnesium Stearate, NF; Microcrystalline Cellulose, NF; Colloidal Silicone Dioxide, NF; and Sodium Starch Glycolate, NF. Each tablet strength meets USP Dissolution Test 2. Table 6 provides a listing of the color additives by tablet strength: Table 6. Dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride tablets contain dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride, a CNS stimulant. Dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride is the d-threo enantiomer of racemic methylphenidate hydrochloride. Dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride tablets are available as 5 mg and 10 mg strength tablets for oral administration. Chemically, dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride is methyl α-phenyl-2-piperidineacetate hydrochloride, (R,R’)-(+)-. Its molecular formula is C 14 H 19 NO 2 •HCl. Its structural formula is: Note: * = asymmetric carbon centers Dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder. Its solutions are acid to litmus. It is soluble in water and in methanol, very slightly soluble in acetone. Its molecular weight is 269.77 g/mol. Oseltamivir phosphate capsules, USP, an influenza neuraminidase inhibitor (NAI), is available as: Capsules containing 30 mg, 45 mg, or 75 mg of oseltamivir for oral use, in the form of oseltamivir phosphate In addition to the active ingredient, each capsule contains croscarmellose sodium, povidone, pregelatinized starch, sodium stearyl fumarate and talc. The 30 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, titanium dioxide, and yellow iron oxide. The 45 mg capsule shell contains gelatin and titanium dioxide. The 75 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, titanium dioxide, and yellow iron oxide. Each capsule is printed with blue ink, which includes FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake as the colorant and shellac. Oseltamivir phosphate is a white to off-white powder with the chemical name (3R, 4R,5S)‐4‐(Acetyl amino)‐ 5‐amino‐3-(1-ethylpropoxy)‐1‐cyclohexene‐1‐carboxylic acid ethyl ester, phosphate (1:1). The chemical formula is C16H28N2O4 (free base). The molecular weight is 312.4 for oseltamivir free base and 410.4 for oseltamivir phosphate salt.
