Verapamil hydrochloride is a calcium antagonist or slow-channel inhibitor. Verapamil Hydrochloride Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution containing verapamil hydrochloride 2.5 mg/mL and sodium chloride 8.5 mg/mL in water for injection. The solution contains no bacteriostat or antimicrobial agent and is intended for single-dose intravenous administration. May contain hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment; pH is 4.0 to 6.5. The chemical name of Verapamil Hydrochloride, USP is benzeneacetonitrile, α-[3-[{2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethyl} methylamino] propyl]-3,4-dimethoxy-α-(1-methylethyl) hydrochloride. Verapamil hydrochloride is a white or practically white crystalline powder. It is practically odorless and has a bitter taste. It is soluble in water; freely soluble in chloroform; sparingly soluble in alcohol; practically insoluble in ether. Vincristine Sulfate Injection, USP is the salt of an alkaloid obtained from a common flowering herb, the periwinkle plant ( Vinca rosea Linn). Originally known as leurocristine, it has also been referred to as LCR and VCR. The molecular formula for Vincristine Sulfate, USP is C 46 H 56 N 4 O 10 ∙H 2 SO 4 . It has a molecular weight of 923.04. The structural formula is as follows: Vincristine Sulfate, USP is a white to off–white powder. It is soluble in methanol, freely soluble in water, but only slightly soluble in 95% ethanol. In 98% ethanol, Vincristine Sulfate, USP has an ultraviolet spectrum with maxima at 221 nm (∈+47,100). Vincristine Sulfate Injection, USP is a sterile, preservative–free, single-dose only solution available for intravenous use in 1 mg/mL and 2 mg/2 mL (1 mg/mL) vials. Each mL contains 1 mg Vincristine Sulfate, USP, 100 mg mannitol and Water for Injection, USP. Q.S. Sulfuric acid or sodium hydroxide have been added for pH control. The pH of Vincristine Sulfate Injection, USP ranges from 4.0 to 5.0. At the time of manufacture, the air in the containers is replaced by nitrogen. Chemical Structure

Phytonadione is a vitamin K replacement, which is a clear, yellow to amber, viscous, odorless or nearly odorless liquid. It is insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform and slightly soluble in ethanol. It has a molecular weight of 450.70. Phytonadione is 2-methyl-3-phytyl-1, 4-naphthoquinone. Its empirical formula is C 31 H 46 O 2 and its molecular structure is: Vitamin K 1 Injection (Phytonadione Injectable Emulsion, USP) is a yellow, sterile, nonpyrogenic aqueous dispersion available for injection by the intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous routes. Vitamin K 1 Injection is available in 1 mg (1 mg/0.5 mL) and 10 mg (10 mg/mL) single-dose ampuls. Each milliliter contains phytonadione 2 mg or 10 mg, polyoxyethylated fatty acid derivative 70 mg, dextrose, hydrous 37.5 mg in water for injection; benzyl alcohol 9 mg added as preservative. ZINC ZINC CHLORIDE

Zinc 1 mg/mL (Zinc Chloride Injection, USP) is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution intended for use as an additive to intravenous solutions for total parenteral nutrition. Each mL of solution contains 2.09 mg zinc chloride and 9 mg sodium chloride. The solution contains no bacteriostat, antimicrobial agent or added buffer. The pH is 2.0 (1.5 to 2.5); product may contain hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment. The osmolarity is 0.354 mOsmoL/mL (calc.). Zinc Chloride, USP is chemically designated ZnCl 2 , a white crystalline compound freely soluble in water. Sodium Chloride, USP is chemically designated NaCl, a white crystalline compound freely soluble in water. The semi-rigid vial is fabricated from a specially formulated polyolefin. It is a copolymer of ethylene and propylene. The safety of the plastic has been confirmed by tests in animals according to USP biological standards for plastic containers. The small amount of water vapor that can pass through the plastic container wall will not significantly alter the drug concentration.
