Azathioprine Tablets, an immunosuppressive antimetabolite, is available in tablet form for oral administration. Each scored tablet contains 50 mg azathioprine and the inactive ingredients lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized starch, povidone, corn starch, magnesium stearate, and stearic acid. Azathioprine is chemically 6-[(1-methyl-4-nitro-1 H-imidazol-5-yl)thio]-1 H -purine. The structural formula of azathioprine is: It is an imidazolyl derivative of 6-mercaptopurine and many of its biological effects are similar to those of the parent compound. Azathioprine is insoluble in water, but may be dissolved with addition of one molar equivalent of alkali. Azathioprine is stable in solution at neutral or acid pH but hydrolysis to mercaptopurine occurs in excess sodium hydroxide (0.1N), especially on warming. Conversion to mercaptopurine also occurs in the presence of sulfhydryl compounds such as cysteine, glutathione, and hydrogen sulfide. Azathioprine Structure

Latanoprost is a prostaglandin F 2α analogue. Its chemical name is isopropyl-(Z)-7[(1R,2R,3R,5S)3,5- dihydroxy-2-[(3R)-3-hydroxy-5-phenylpentyl]cyclopentyl]-5-heptenoate. Its molecular formula is C 26 H 40 O 5 and its chemical structure is: Latanoprost is a colorless to slightly yellow oil that is very soluble in acetonitrile and freely soluble in acetone, ethanol, ethyl acetate, isopropanol, methanol, and octanol. It is practically insoluble in water. Latanoprost ophthalmic solution 0.005% is supplied as a sterile, isotonic, buffered aqueous solution of latanoprost with a pH of approximately 6.7 and an osmolality of approximately 267 mOsmol/kg. Each mL of latanoprost ophthalmic solution contains 50 mcg of latanoprost. Benzalkonium chloride, 0.02% is added as a preservative. The inactive ingredients are: sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate monohydrate, Disodium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, and water for injection. Phytonadione is a vitamin, which is a clear, yellow to amber, viscous, odorless or nearly odorless liquid. It is practically insoluble in water, sparingly soluble in ethanol and miscible with fatty oils. It has a molecular weight of 450.70. Phytonadione is 2-Methyl-3’,7’,11’,15’-tetramethyl-hexadec-2’-en-1-yl-naphthalene-1,4 dione. Its empirical formula is C 31 H 46 O 2 and its structural formula is: Phytonadione Injectable Emulsion, USP is a yellow, sterile, nonpyrogenic aqueous dispersion available for injection by the intravenous, intramuscular and subcutaneous routes. Each milliliter contains phytonadione, USP 10 mg, polyoxyl 35 castor oil 70 mg, dextrose monohydrate 37.5 mg in water for injection; benzyl alcohol 9 mg added as preservative. It has a molecular formula of C 26 H 35 F 3 O 6 and a molecular weight of 500.55 g/mol. The chemical structure of travoprost is: Travoprost, USP is a clear, colorless and viscous oil that is very soluble in acetonitrile, methanol, octanol, and chloroform. It is practically insoluble in water. Travoprost ophthalmic solution, USP (ionic buffered solution) 0.004% is supplied as sterile, buffered aqueous solution of travoprost with a pH of approximately 5.7 and an osmolality of approximately 290 mOsmol/kg. Travoprost ophthalmic solution, USP (ionic buffered solution) 0.004% contains Active: travoprost, USP 0.04 mg/mL; Inactives: polyoxyl 40 hydrogenated castor oil, boric acid, propylene glycol, sorbitol, zinc chloride, sodium hydroxide and/or hydrochloric acid (to adjust pH), and water for injection.
