Aricept DONEPEZIL HYDROCHLORIDE

ARICEPT (donepezil hydrochloride) is a reversible inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, known chemically as (±)-2, 3-dihydro-5, 6-dimethoxy-2-[[1-(phenylmethyl)-4-piperidinyl]methyl]-1 H -inden-1-one hydrochloride. Donepezil hydrochloride is commonly referred to in the pharmacological literature as E2020. It has an empirical formula of C 24 H 29 NO 3 HCl and a molecular weight of 415.96. Donepezil hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder and is freely soluble in chloroform, soluble in water and in glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in ethanol and in acetonitrile, and practically insoluble in ethyl acetate and in n-hexane. ARICEPT is available for oral administration in film-coated tablets containing 5, 10, or 23 mg of donepezil hydrochloride. Inactive ingredients in 5 mg and 10 mg tablets are lactose monohydrate, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, and magnesium stearate. The film coating contains talc, polyethylene glycol, hypromellose, and titanium dioxide. Additionally, the 10 mg tablet contains yellow iron oxide (synthetic) as a coloring agent. Inactive ingredients in 23 mg tablets include ethylcellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and methacrylic acid copolymer, Type C. The film coating includes ferric oxide, hypromellose 2910, polyethylene glycol 8000, talc, and titanium dioxide. ARICEPT ODT tablets are available for oral administration. Each ARICEPT ODT tablet contains 5 or 10 mg of donepezil hydrochloride. Inactive ingredients are carrageenan, mannitol, colloidal silicon dioxide, and polyvinyl alcohol. Banzel RUFINAMIDE

BANZEL (rufinamide) is a triazole derivative structurally unrelated to currently marketed antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). Rufinamide has the chemical name 1-[(2,6-difluorophenyl)methyl]-1 H -1,2,3-triazole-4 carboxamide. It has an empirical formula of C 10 H 8 F 2 N 4 O and a molecular weight of 238.2. The drug substance is a white, crystalline, odorless, and slightly bitter tasting neutral powder. Rufinamide is practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in tetrahydrofuran and in methanol, and very slightly soluble in ethanol and in acetonitrile. BANZEL is available for oral administration in film-coated tablets, scored on both sides, containing 200 and 400 mg of rufinamide. Inactive ingredients are colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch crosscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and sodium lauryl sulphate. The film coating contains hypromellose, iron oxide red, polyethylene glycol, talc, and titanium dioxide. BANZEL is also available for oral administration as a liquid containing rufinamide at a concentration of 40 mg/mL. Inactive ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose and carboxymethylcellulose sodium, hydroxyethylcellulose, anhydrous citric acid, simethicone emulsion 30%, poloxamer 188, methylparaben, propylparaben, propylene glycol, potassium sorbate, noncrystallizing sorbitol solution 70%, and an orange flavor. DAYVIGO contains lemborexant, an orexin receptor antagonist. The chemical name of lemborexant is (1R,2S)-2-{[(2,4-dimethylpyrimidin-5-yl)oxy]methyl}-2-(3-fluorophenyl)- N -(5-fluoropyridin-2-yl) cyclopropanecarboxamide. The molecular formula is C 22 H 20 F 2 N 4 O 2 . The molecular weight is 410.42. The structural formula is: Lemborexant is a white to off-white powder that is practically insoluble in water. DAYVIGO tablets are intended for oral administration. Each film coated tablet contains 5 mg or 10 mg of lemborexant. The inactive ingredients are: hydroxypropyl cellulose, lactose monohydrate, low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, and magnesium stearate. In addition, the film coating contains the following inactive ingredients: hypromellose 2910, polyethylene glycol 8000, talc, titanium dioxide, and either (a) ferric oxide yellow for the 5 mg tablet; or, (b) both ferric oxide yellow and ferric oxide red for the 10 mg tablet. The structural formula for DAYVIGO contains lemborexant, an orexin receptor antagonist. FYCOMPA tablets and oral suspension contain perampanel, a non-competitive AMPA receptor antagonist, as a 4:3 hydrate. The chemical name of the active ingredient is 2-(1′,6′-dihydro-6′-oxo-1′-phenyl[2,3′-bipyridin]-5′-yl)-benzonitrile, hydrate (4:3). The molecular formula is C 23 H 15 N 3 O • ¾H 2 O and the molecular weight is 362.90 (349.39 for anhydrous perampanel). It is a white to yellowish white powder. It is freely soluble in 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, sparingly soluble in acetonitrile and acetone, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol and ethyl acetate, very slightly soluble in 1-octanol and diethyl ether, and practically insoluble in heptane and water. The chemical structure is: Tablets FYCOMPA tablets are round, bi-convex, film-coated tablets containing 2 mg, 4 mg, 6 mg, 8 mg, 10 mg, or 12 mg of perampanel. Tablets contain the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose, povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, talc, and titanium dioxide. The chemical structure of lenvatinib mesylate is: Lenvatinib mesylate is a white to pale reddish yellow powder. It is slightly soluble in water and practically insoluble in ethanol (dehydrated). The dissociation constant (pKa value) of lenvatinib mesylate is 5.05 at 25°C. The partition coefficient (log P value) is 3.3. Lecanemab-irmb is a recombinant humanized immunoglobulin gamma 1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody directed against aggregated soluble and insoluble forms of amyloid beta, and is expressed in a Chinese hamster ovary cell line. Lecanemab-irmb has an approximate molecular weight of 150 kDa. LEQEMBI Injection for Intravenous Use LEQEMBI (lecanemab-irmb) injection is a sterile, preservative-free, clear to opalescent and colorless to pale yellow solution for intravenous infusion after dilution. LEQEMBI is supplied in single-dose vials available in concentrations of 500 mg/5 mL (100 mg/mL) or 200 mg/2 mL (100 mg/mL). Each mL of solution contains 100 mg of lecanemab-irmb and arginine hydrochloride (42.13 mg), histidine (0.18 mg), histidine hydrochloride monohydrate (4.99 mg), polysorbate 80 (0.50 mg), and Water for Injection at an approximate pH of 5.0. LEQEMBI IQLIK Injection for Subcutaneous Use LEQEMBI IQLIK (lecanemab-irmb) injection is a sterile, preservative-free, clear to opalescent and colorless to pale yellow solution for subcutaneous use. LEQEMBI IQLIK is supplied in a single-dose prefilled autoinjector available in the concentration of 360 mg/1.8 mL with a 29-gauge fixed ½-inch needle. Each LEQEMBI IQLIK autoinjector contains 360 mg/1.8 mL lecanemab-irmb formulated in: arginine hydrochloride (75.83 mg), histidine (0.25 mg), histidine hydrochloride monohydrate (9.09 mg), polysorbate 80 (0.90 mg), and Water for Injection, USP.
