Midazolam in 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection may contain hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment. The pH is approximately 2.5-3.5. Midazolam is a white or yellowish powder, practically insoluble in water, Chemically, midazolam is 8-chloro-6-(2-fluorophenyl)-1-methyl-4 H -imidazo[1,5-a][1,4]-benzodiazepine.
