The chemical structure of doxorubicin hydrochloride is: Doxorubicin Hydrochloride for Injection, USP, for intravenous use is a sterile red to orange-red lyophilized cake or powder, provided in single-dose vials. Each 20 mg/vial contains 20 mg of doxorubicin hydrochloride, USP (equivalent to 18.74 mg of doxorubicin free base) and 100 mg of lactose monohydrate.
