Uses For the temporary relief of pain to oral mucosal tissue associated with denture irritations, deep scaling of teeth, suture removals, canker sores, matrix band removal, and periodontal procedures.

Indications & Usage

Uses For the temporary relief of pain to oral mucosal tissue associated with denture irritations, deep scaling of teeth, suture removals, canker sores, matrix band removal, and periodontal procedures.

Dosage & Administration

Directions 3-4 times per day or as directed by dentist or doctor. Adults and children 2 years of age or older Apply to the affected area. Allow to remain in place at least 1 minute and then spit out. Children under 12 years of age Should be supervised in the use of the product. Children under 2 years of age Consult a dentist or doctor.

Warnings & Precautions
Warnings Use smallest amount possible to achieve desired result. Do not eat for one hour following use. Do not chew gum or food while numbness persists. Apply to area with a cotton applicator as needed. If the following symptoms appear: weakness, confusion, headache, difficulty breathing and/or pale, gray or blue coloured skin, stop use and consult a heath care practitioner. These symptoms may be signs of methemoglobinemia, a rare disorder, which may appear up to 2 hours after use. Do not use if allergic to benzocaine or any other ingredient in the product. Use with caution in children. Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occure, in which case, discontinue use. Store in a tight container. Protect from light.
