Dosage & Administration
Directions take every 4 hours do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours adults & children 12 years & over 5 mL - 10 mL (1 - 2 teaspoonfuls) children 6 years to under 12 years 2.5 mL - 5 mL (1/2 - 1 teaspoonful) children 2 years to under 6 years 1.25 mL - 2.5 mL (1/4 - 1/2 teaspoonful) children under 2 years ask a doctor

Warnings Ask a doctor before use if you have: a persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema a cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus) Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms are accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache cough persists for more than 1 week or tends to recur A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
