Description

OXYGEN, COMPRESSED USP UN 1072 DANGER: COMPRESSED, OXIDIZING GAS. MAY CAUSE OR INTENSIFY FIRE; OXIDIZER, CONTAINS GAS UNDER PRESSURE; MAY EXPLODE IF HEATED. WARNING: For emergency use only when administered by properly trained personnel for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation. For all other medical applications, Rx Required. NO SMOKING. NO VAPING. KEEP AWAY FROM OPEN FLAME. Uninterrupted use of high concentrations of oxygen over a long duration, without monitoring its effect on oxygen content of arterial blood, may be harmful. Do not attempt to use on patients who have stopped breathing unless used in conjunction with resuscitative equipment. Produced by Air Liquefaction. Obtain, read and follow all instructions and the Material Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Federal law requires that this container be refilled with oxygen USP only by establishments registered as a drug manufacturer in accordance with the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. Cylinder must be re-certified every 5 years from the manufacture date. Keep and store away from heat, sparks, open flame, clothing and other combustible materials. Keep cylinder, valves, fittings and all connecting equipment free from grease and oil. Store and use in a cool, well ventilated place. Do not drop. Secure cylinder during storage and use. Keep away from children. Use only with equipment cleaned and rated for oxygen service and of compatible materials of construction for cylinder pressure. Do not open valve until connected to equipment prepared for use. Open valve slowly. Close valve after each use and when empty. Cylinder temperature should not exceed 125°F (52°C). Aluminum cylinders subject to fire or temperatures in excess of 350°F (176°C) must be withdrawn from service and condemned by trained personnel.
