Medication Information

Warnings and Precautions

Horses Only: This product has been formulated specifically for use in horses only.

Refrain from smoking and eating when handling.

Wash hands after use. Avoid contact with eyes.

Swelling and itching reactions may occur in horses carrying heavy infections of neck thread worm microfilariae (Onchocerca sp.).

Indications and Usage

Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis treatment, and control of parasitism. Provides effective treatment and control of the following parasites in horses:

Large Strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris(including early forms in blood vessels),S.edentatus, and Triodonto-phorus spp.

Small Strongyles (including those resistant to benzimidazoles)

Pinworms, Ascarids, Hairworms, and

Large-mouth Stomach Worms.Bots (Gasterophilus spp.-oral andgastric stages).

Lungworms (Dictyocaulus arnfieldi)Intestinal Threadworms (Strongyloi-des westeri).

Summer Sores and Dermatitis causedby Onchocerca sp.

Dosage and Administration

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE

Dosage Rate: 91 mcg ivermectin per Ib (200 mcg/kg) of body weight.

ADMINISTRATION

* Weigh the Horse: Determine the weight of the horse as accurately as possible to ensure the correct dose.

*Calculate Dose: Administer 1 mL per 200 lbs (90 kg) of body weight.

*Measure: Measure the required amount using a standard measuring cup or oral dosing tool.

*Administer: Pour the dose over the horse's feed and mix well or adminiser directly onto the back of the horse's tongue.
