Nikki (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol tablets USP), 3 mg/0.02 mg provides an oral contraceptive regimen consisting of 24 pink, round, biconvex active film-coated tablets each containing 3 mg of drospirenone and 0.02 mg of ethinyl estradiol and 4 white to off-white inert film-coated tablets. The inactive ingredients in the pink film-coated tablets are corn starch, hypromellose, iron oxide red, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, pregelatinised starch, talc and titanium dioxide. The white to off-white inert film-coated tablets contain corn starch, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinized starch and titanium dioxide.
