Micafungin for Injection USP is a sterile, lyophilized product for intravenous (IV) infusion that contains Micafungin Sodium USP. Micafungin Sodium USP is a semisynthetic lipopeptide (echinocandin) synthesized by a chemical modification of a fermentation product of Coleophoma empetri F-11899.
