Bupropion hydrochloride, an antidepressant of the aminoketone class, is chemically unrelated to tricyclic, tetracyclic, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, or other known antidepressant agents. Each tablet contains the labeled amount of bupropion hydrochloride and the inactive ingredients: ammonium hydroxide, colloidal silicon dioxide, dibutyl sebacate, ethylcellulose, glyceryl behenate, hydrophobic colloidal silica, hydroxypropyl cellulose, iron oxide black, L-cysteine hydrochloride monohydrate, methacrylic acid copolymer dispersion, polyvinyl alcohol, povidone, propylene glycol, shellac and triethyl citrate. The tablets are printed with edible black ink. The insoluble shell of the extended-release tablet may remain intact during gastrointestinal transit and is eliminated in the feces. The Drug Product Meets USP Dissolution Test 20.

The tablets are printed with black ink containing ammonium hydroxide, ferrosoferric oxide, propylene glycol, shellac glaze. The insoluble shell of the extended-release tablet may remain intact during gastrointestinal transit and is eliminated in the feces. USP dissolution test 22 is used.
